Ormie: an earnest and thought-provoking meditation on pigs and cookies

By the strangest of coincidences, this is just about exactly what I’m going to be doing this afternoon in my latest onslaught on the wild grape ivy in my back yard. (Just replace the refrigerator with a tree).

I’m trying to picture you going after grape ivy with a pair of toilet plungers….

You may well laugh, but that’s about the only way I could have done it: because when I plodded out behind the bamboo to get at the ivy’s roots I found them sitting in a pool of water, which meant I couldn’t unleash my chemical weapons on them. So they got a short reprieve.
