The good news is that we&#8217;ve reached the funding goal &#8211; so the pledges will be redeemed, the <em>Fabulous Prizes<\/em> will ship out to the project&#8217;s backers, and people, by which I mean me, will be dancing in the streets.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href='http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/101187357\/thrilling-tales-of-the-downright-unusual-the-toast' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img src='http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/101187357\/thrilling-tales-of-the-downright-unusual-the-toast\/widget\/card.jpg' alt=\"Help launch the Thrilling Tales!\" width=290 height=445 border='0' style=\"float:left;margin-right:12px;margin-bottom:12px;\"\/><\/a>The rest of the news isn&#8217;t bad. Really!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">But as I explained in the project description I set a funding goal that I believed we could reach.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The actual expense of producing the next chapter of <em>The Toaster With Two Brains<\/em> and the non-interactive <em>Clockwork Book<\/em> stories will be quite a bit more than that.
