This cover is an image Spurlock cobbled together from vintage Wood drawings, with colors and title graphic by Jim Steranko.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The book&#8217;s set for a November release &#8211; after, I think, a short delay from its original date. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The book&#8217;s already listed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1934331406\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=webomator-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=1934331406\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">at Amazon<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1934331406\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>, just so you can go there and keep refreshing the page for the next eight months.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">And what&#8217;s in it? Spurlock explains:<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>We are finalizing the contents now but it will likely include Wood&#8217;s complete Avon sci-fi output including Strange Worlds, Space Detective, Capt. Science, etc. We are waiting to hear from EC about including some EC material.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Wood was an amazing penciler and inker; he&#8217;s remembered today for a lot of that work, but it still seems to me that he remains undervalued. You just can&#8217;t beat the science fiction stories he turned out, especially during the EC years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J.
