Celtic
Art and Retro - Futuristic Design

It sounds like an anchovy and jelly sandwich, doesn't it? But it's
sooo much tastier. All my favorite art goes here.

Celtic
Art Books

My
own personal bookstore, chock full of Celtic art borders that you
can use, and some handsome blank books with bordered pages.

Really
Neat Stuff

Art, T Shirts and other merchandise from independent artists on
the Web. Hunted Down. Reviewed. Linked.

Celtic
T-shirts

Hundreds
of Celtic Art T-shirts from dozens of artists, all gathered together
in one place.

The
Non-Conformists Union,
Local 404

There's
no better place for committed individualists to gather together
and find the strength that lies in numbers.
"Organizing
Against Conformity Since 1903"!

The
Retrovert

Restored Vintage graphics from WPA poster art, the 1939 New York
World's Fair, Crate Label Art, Magazine Covers, and more - now on
a selection of cards, posters, shirts, and coffee mugs.

Woodworking
Gifts

Home
of the "Measure Twice. Cut Once." T-shirt, this shop offers
creative, original shirts, aprons, coffee mugs, boxes & tiles
that make sense to people who work with wood.

Time Machines

Hundreds of artist-designed clocks, all created by a hand picked tribe of gifted artists.

Design
Clinic

This studio of artists in the UK does some wonderful cast sculptural
work, with clocks, coat racks and other merchandise in both Celtic
Art and Retro styles - an unlikely one two punch I thought was unique
to me!

Cool
Rockets

Jeff Brewer's amazing 1950s style rockets - you've
just got to see 'em. Because they're cool. And they're
rockets.

Toy
Tent
Antique & collectible toys, including rip-roaring rockets and
faithful, if death-ray enabled, robots.

Private
Art

This
beautifully designed site presents a family archive of letters to
and from a U.S. soldier during WWII.

The Morgan Motor Company

So,
okay, I don't own one. I just ought to.

Archive of the WPA Writers' Project 1936-1940

This collection at the Library of Congress contains oral histories
collected during the Depression years. It's searchable and fascinating.

Brian
Taylor and his "Rustboy" Project

Rustboy is a
25 minute film project that Brian is making completely on his own,
with off-the-shelf software. The sample film clips are wonderful
- and as for his book
about the project, well, just buy it. You don't know it yet, but
you need one.

Andy
Murdock and "Lots of Robots"

Another
independent animation project; no one can say for certain how long
"Lots of Robots" will be, or exactly where it's going,
but it's gotten awfully interesting on its way there. Andy is also
a huge resource for techniques using 3D Studio Max.

DLC Studio

Diane Cooper is
a portrait painter, a digital artist, and a swell dame.

Eric
Daniels' Goldfish Aquarium Screen Saver

Eric's an old friend and a professional animator (the
Disney, Dreamworks kind) who's produced this fascinating real time
animated screensaver with lifelike goldfish in a variety of settings.
Neat!

Rotem
Gear

Jean Roth's offerings of inventive designs on shirts,
drinkware, and other tchotchkas, with special emphasis on Hebrew &
Yiddish designs, ethnic foods, tree hugger gear, and grrly stuff.

Fbod Studios

Lisa Clardy's eclectic collection of design, from remixed retro goodness to her eponymous Fluffy Bunnies of Doom. They're flufftastic!

Art
of FoxVox

Celtic knotwork & spiral art by Kristen N. Fox.

Daniel
Mowry

Prints, gifts & CD-ROMs with the amazing space
art of Daniel Mowry.

Wyrmkeep
Entertainment Company

Joe Pearce, who originally programmed
the Macintosh version of my Labyrinth of Time, has ported that
(ancient) game to modern Macs, PCs, and Linux. There's even a T-shirt.

"We'll meet again -
Don't know where, don't know when -
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day.
Keep smiling through, just like you always do
'Til the blue skies chase those dark clouds far away."
"We'll Meet Again" by Ross Parker
& Hughie Charles, 1933
